OLUCE Coupe Mini Table Lamp The Coupé series, designed by Joe Colombo, was initially conceived as a variation of the Spider family, created by the same designer, of which it has kept its base and stem. The simple, ingenious mechanism that connects the stem to the head makes it possible to direct the beam in several directions, by moving the dome up, down and sideways. In 1968, Coupé won the "International Design Award" of the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago. It is part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the "Neue Sammlung" Museum in Munich. Available in two versions, with either a semi-cylindrical or a semi-spherical dome, over the years, many models of Coupé have been created (ranging between the historic table lamp to the floor and wall lamps), becoming one of the most renowned and appreciated Oluce collections.

OLUCE Cylinda Table Lamp - Angeletti & Ruzza designed Cylinda, a table lamp formed from two cylinders of different dimensions and thicknesses. The first, which is slimmer and taller, becomes the base supporting the second unit, a large, slender disc that forms the light-shade, with an LED light source shining beneath it. In the words of the designers, the essential forms of this design aim: “To eliminate, not to add anything that is not absolutely necessary: this was the mantra guiding the design of the lamp; with its quiet presence, it succeeds in creating a positive atmosphere that can transform everyday routine into everyday poetics.” Cylinda captures the attention with its strong, poetic presence, maintaining a minimalist sophistication with its clean outlines and use of geometric shapes, fully reflecting the Oluce DNA. In the monochrome anthracite version, Cylinda confirms its refined quality, highlighting the elegance of the lines, while in the two-colour version, a brushed gold disc is supported on the anthracite base, a decorative touch that succeeds in discreetly embellishing the object.

OLUCE Duca Table Lamp - The Duca Table Lamp was designed by Nicola Gallizia in 2015, and is made in Italy. Originally designed for the ME Milan Il Duca hotel, a luxury hotel located in Milan, the Duca Table Lamp is unique, modern, and practical. Showcasing a pleasing, balanced form, this modern table lamp features a circular base and top that mirror each other. When illuminated, light is cast from the LED light source straight down providing accent light that is perfect on a side table, bedside table or console table.

OLUCE Eva Table Lamp - The body of the object is a ball containing the LED light source; it is open on one side and stands on a slim cylindrical base. The inside of the ball is concealed by a surface that almost perfectly completes it, closing it like a sphere that recomposes itself, with the exception of a circle, a luminous light spiral that recalls the phenomenon of an eclipse. As this circular surface moves towards the interior or exterior of the ball, it allows different amounts of light to pass through, creating intimate, suffuse atmospheres, and revealing glimpses of the fine gold leaf walls inside the Eva lamp with varying degrees of clarity.

OLUCE Plume Table Lamp - Plume blends a minimal, slender and lightweight design, with a series of expressions that recall the classic lighting styles of the 1950s with the use of metal, configured as a collection with a precious, classic character, yet at the same time, contemporary.

OLUCE Recuerdo Table Lamp - Recuerdo, design by Mariana Pellegrino Soto, is part of a round solid in transparent glass, with an elegant crystal matelassé or quilted effect, inside which the LED light source is protected by a frosted glass cylinder, creating plays of light and reflections inside the space.

OLUCE Semplice Table Lamp - Sam Hecht designs Semplice for Oluce, a table lamp consisting of a single blown glass bell, acting as both the diffuser and the base for the design. The lower end, in fact, rests directly on the floor, while the upper part of the bell is covered internally by a metal cap which encases the luminous bulb. The extreme constructive synthesis of the structural elements of this product is accompanied by painstaking attention to details and finishes: the sophisticated galvanic processing of the head, the rotary dimmer positioned at the top of the lamp and the metal braid wires. Thanks to this pairing, the ‘simplicity’ of the forms, from which the design adopts its name, is therefore enriched with sophisticated finishes and details, resulting in a product that is decorative and lightweight at the same time. Presented at Euroluce 2013, Semplice won that year’s prestigious “Best British Design Award”.

OLUCE Siro Table Lamp - Marta Perla has designed Siro, a semi-spherical table lamp with a disc at the front releasing in its interior an oblique light thanks to the slim LED light source. Seen from the front, Siro appears to consist of two two dimensional elements, giving the illusion of being perfectly balanced on a surface. It takes its name from the necessity, so typical of man, to search in celestial movements, possible links between one’s own past and cosmic phenomena. Hence Siro, deriving from Sirius, the brightest white star in the night sky.

OLUCE Spider Table Lamp - Table or floor lamp with stove-enamelled sheet metal reflector purposely designed to take a special horizontal spot light bulb. A plastic joint allows the reflector to tilt. In 1967 Spider won the Compasso d’Oro award. It is part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum of Düsseldorf and the “Neue Sammlung Museum” in Munich. In 1972 it went on show at the “Italy: The New Domestic Landscape” exhibition in New York.

The archetypal shape of the cylindrical lampshade is transformed by using metal while its function as a diffuser is combined with that of a ‘switch’, hence its name. In fact, the lamp is switched on and off by turning the sheet metal lampshade, inextricably blending shape and function, aesthetics and functionality.
